Terms of Service

These terms of service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Boostr - Daily Motivation app (the “App”) and the Boostr Pro subscription. By installing or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. Service description

Boostr is a motivation app that offers inspiring lines, personalized to the preferences you provide, in a feed you scroll through. The App offers a free version with a limited number of lines per day, and a paid “Boostr Pro” subscription that unlocks extended access. The lines are provided for entertainment and motivation only; they are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, nor a substitute for professional support.

3. Access and account

On first launch, an anonymous account is created automatically. No account with e-mail or password is required. You are responsible for the device from which you access the App. How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy.

4. Boostr Pro subscription

Boostr Pro is offered as a subscription, in the plans available in the App:

The exact prices, in your local currency, are shown in the App before any purchase. The subscription is sold and billed through Google Play; payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

5. Automatic renewal

The Boostr Pro subscription renews automatically. It renews for an identical period (one month or one year) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal amount is charged by Google Play within the 24 hours before the period ends.

6. Free trial

When a free trial is offered, it gives you access to Boostr Pro for the duration shown in the App at the time of subscribing. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts automatically and the first payment is charged. Any unused free trial is forfeited when you subscribe to a paid plan.

7. Manage or cancel your subscription

You can view, manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Google Play account settings (Subscriptions), on your Android device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep access to Boostr Pro until that date, with no further charge afterwards.

8. Right of withdrawal

Under consumer law, you generally have a 14-day withdrawal period for a distance purchase. However, by accessing the digital content of Boostr Pro immediately upon subscribing, you request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal for the part already provided. Refund requests are otherwise handled under Google Play rules.

9. Prices and changes

We may change prices and plans. Any price change to an ongoing subscription will be notified to you under Google Play rules and will only apply after your acceptance where such acceptance is required. The applicable price is always the one shown in the App before confirmation.

10. Minors

Boostr may be used by people aged 13 to 17. If you are a minor, you declare that you use the App with your legal guardian's consent, and any purchase or subscription must be made with the authorization and under the responsibility of your legal guardian, who holds the payment method. We encourage you to enable Google Play parental controls. Data collection regarding minors is reduced, as described in the privacy policy.

11. Intellectual property

The App, its content, its mascot, its text, its design and its graphic elements are protected and remain the property of the publisher. They are granted to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without authorization. Occasional sharing of a line via the built-in share feature is permitted for personal use.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, not to attempt to bypass its technical limitations (including the free daily line limit), and not to access it through unauthorized automated means.

13. Liability

The App is provided “as is”. We do our best to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

14. Availability and changes to the service

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, in particular for maintenance or technical reasons. We strive to limit the impact of such interruptions.

15. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be changed. The last-updated date at the top of the page indicates the version in force. By continuing to use the App after an update, you accept the amended Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge before any legal action. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
